corporate partership for such events.
Also, some of the Campus Representative of the various institute have shown
interest in such an event to showcase various research and project undertaken by their respective institutes.
Since the event is new we have to make sure that the students are informed well regarding the event and opportunities they are getting to ensure maximum participation from the student community, this can be done through mailing and online publicity.

Proposal 3:
I propose to publish a technical newsletter every semester.
Objective:
In an institute like ours where technical developments occur ever so frequently, the majority of students find themselves to be oblivious to most of these developments that just might be pertaining to their areas of interest. To fix this issue is the primary objective of my proposal.
Structure:

The e-newsletter will be released once at the end of every semester.
The e-newsletter will be released through the Facebook page of Technology
Students Gymkhana and will be circulated through ERP mail and official emails of students.

The newsletter will tentatively consist of six pages:
1. The first page of the newsletter will be dedicated to what our beloved alumni have to say about the present trends and developments in technology and their invaluable contribution to the same.
2. The second page will provide in detail standings and updates about the
technology events held in that particular semester ( open IIT and ad design
event of technology general championship in the autumn semester and the
other technology general championship events in the spring semester).

3. Providing students with just the results of various technology events, won’t
suffice the purpose of this newsletter. Hence, in the next couple of pages, we
will include interviews and overviews of the work done by the winning
teams (of technology events like open soft, product design, case study,
chemquest, data analytics and hardware modelling) to provide readers with
greater insight into how the winning team went about solving the problems
that they had to face.
4. We will place a few interesting articles on recent technological trends and
developments that most students would find to be useful.
5. The last page will be dedicated to what students and professors in our
campus are up to, their recent breakthroughs in research, achievements, and
honours etc.
6. We will also throw in some facts pertaining to the trending technological
advancements throughout the world in the form of fact boxes, etc throughout
the newsletter.

Groundwork :

We will appoint a team for content writing and design at the beginning of the
session which will be handling the job of finding content for and designing the newsletter. The team will be selected on the basis of an assignment followed by a personal interview. The assignment shall be selected randomly from a large roster which will comprise of various topics. The personal interviews will be conducted by a panel consisting of both the General Secretary Technology, former Secretary Literary Cup. The team selected shall comprise only of second year UG students.
The General Secretaries of Technology, Technology Students Gymkhana will be overviewing the content and design team’s job.
