PROPOSAL 1
Overview: I propose to revamp the selection process for participation in Inter IIT Tech meet.
The following points are to be considered for the same:
1. Selection and assigning of Professor mentors to every problem statement and event
scheduled in the Tech Meet after rigorous consultations from former Inter IIT
contingent members.
2. Publicity of the Tech Meet participation among both UG and PG Students through
social media and seminars to increase competitiveness in selections.
3. Conduction of event oriented screening tests, to ensure peak team quality and
synchronisation.
4. Forming of centralised support teams in specialized domains like presentation
design, app development, media cell for presentation images and videos.
Benefits:
1. Increased participation in the Inter IIT Tech Meet both qualitatively and quantitatively.
2. Improved transparency in the selection process.
3. Added motivation to work for the team, as the contingent members have earned a
place through rigorous selection process.
Working Details:
1. Call for CV submission for selection of Contingent Captain and Vice Captain.
2. Selection after a Personal Interview with previous captains.
3. Assigning of Professor Mentors.
4. Call for CV submission for event captains.
5. Selection of Captains for every event after an interview with Professor Mentor and
Contingent Captains.
6. Assigning of Gymkhana Secretaries to individual events.
7. Formation of a centralised Design and Presentation Team as well as an App
Development Team.
8. Publicising of the Inter IIT Tech events and contingent information via online media.
9. Call for student applications in all the events.
10. Conduction of tests and interviews for the selections of all the teams.
11. Initiation of brainstorming sessions for all the teams well before the deadlines.

PROPOSAL 2
Overview: I propose to introduce a new event Sudo-Code in the Open IIT as well as
Technology General Championship. It will be a 8-hour overnight team event based on the
lines of competitive programming contests like ACM ICPC. The event will come under the
Application Cup.
Benefits:
1. Further promoting an extensive coding culture on campus.
2. Large number of companies recruiting through CDC prefer strong coding profiles.
3. Providing insightful guidance to novice aspirants at an early stage in the Halls.
Rules:
1. One team from each Hall consisting of 4 members.
2. Event will be held online on any of the programming platforms like HackerRank or
HackerEarth.
3. Teams will have to participate from a common physical location like CIC or Nalanda.
4. The problem statement will have several problems on algorithms and data structures.
Questions will be procured from the organizing platform.
5. Use of Internet and any external aid will not be allowed.
6. Ranking will be done on basis of number of problems solved. Ties will be broken by
total time taken.

PROPOSAL 3
Overview: I propose to introduce Tech Buddy Program, to provide senior mentors to the
juniors for further developing their technical skills under proper guidance.
Working:
1. Mentor selections will take place in the spring semester.
2. Mentors will be selected on the basis of their CV, selection process will be
done by the General Secretaries and Advisors.
3. The selected mentors will be categorised as per the different genres.
4. Information regarding the program for fresher’s and sophomores may be
disseminated through Halls during the Induction and Assimilation program
respectively. The same shall also be informed through mail and social media.
5. Mentees have to fill up the form based on their interests and mentors will be
allotted accordingly.
6. Mentors will be officially recognized by the Gymkhana for their voluntary
service.

4. Better Case-solving and Guesstimate preparation for job interviews in Top-tier
consultancy companies.
